Chuanting Zhang is a postdoctoral researcher in the Communication Theory Lab (CTL) working with Prof. Mohamed-Slim Alouini and Prof. Basem Shihada at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST).

Education and Early Career

Chuanting Zhang obtained his BS and MS degree in Computer Science and Technology from Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology (IMUST) in 2011 and 2014, respectively. After that, he obtained his PhD degree in Communication and Information Systems from Shandong University in 2019.

Research Interest

Chuanting Zhang aims at making our city and world smarter by using big data. He mainly focuses on the design, analysis, implementation, and experimental evaluation of artificial intelligence algorithms for various domains. Specifically, his current research interests are wireless big data analysis, social network analysis and computer vision.
