Nasir Saeed is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Communication Theory Lab, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), working with Professor Mohamed-Slim Alouini and Professor Tareq Y. Al-naffouri.
Education and Early Career
Nasir Saeed received his Bachelor’s of Telecommunication degree from University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, Pakistan, in 2009 and received Masters degree in Satellite Navigation from Polito di Torino, Italy, in 2012. He received his Ph.D. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Hanyang University, Seoul, South Korea in 2015.
Before joining KAUST, in 2015, he worked as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Gandhara Institute of Science and IT, Peshawar, Pakistan. Dr. Saeed worked as an assistant professor at IQRA National University, Peshawar, Pakistan from 2016 to July 2017
Scientific Interest
Nasir Saeed is interested in localization for modern wireless communication systems, Underwater optical wireless communications, Data visualization, and Underground communications.
Honors and Awards
Nasir Saeed was awarded the Campagna di San Paolo fellowship in 2010. His research work in KAUST is highlighted by scientific magazines such as KAUST Discoveries, Nature middle east, and Physics.
