Prof. Luca F. Pavarino from University of Pavia (Italy) visited our group from March 27th to April 2nd, 2023.
Prof. Pavarino is an expert in Domain Decomposition Methods and parallel solvers for PDEs. Part of his research is also focused on biological applications, such as Computational Cardiology and Electrophysiology.
During his visit, he has been speaker of the Mathematics and Application Colloquium with the talk "Scalable parallel solvers for cardiac reaction-diffusion models and applications".
