Amal Al-Amri is a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical Engineering at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) under the supervision of Prof. Jr-Hau-He. Amal received her B.Sc. in Physics from King Abdulaziz University in Saudi Arabia and proceeded to obtain her M.Sc. with a concentration in Nanomaterial's Science in Physics from King Abdulaziz University. As an active member of the Saudi Association for Physical Sciences and a member of the Talented Center King Abdulaziz University, she was able to win the Innovative Award at King Abdulaziz University in 2008 and got the second place on Scientific researchers for Postgraduate students at KAU. 

Research Interest

Amal's research interests include Nanoenergy, photovoltaics, solar cells, electronics and semiconductor interfaces.
