Xiaojie Zhu is a staff research scientist at KAUST. Prior to that, he was an assistant professor of cybersecurity in the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology, College of Engineering, Abu Dhabi University. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science, University of Oslo, Norway.
Xiaojie's research interests are data security and privacy, software security, decentralized trust and infrastructure, and applied cryptography. He has published in prestigious journals such as IEEE TDSC, IEEE TPDS, JNCA, and JOS. One of his articles was included in the 21st annual Best of Computing by ACM Computing Reviews. He has also reviewed papers for reputed journals such as IEEE TIFS, IEEE TDSC, IEEE TPDS, and IEEE TII. Xiaojie has been a board member of the Norwegian Research School of Computer and Information Security and a TPC member at high-profile international conferences on scalable computing and cybersecurity.
