Following the continuous effort and support previously provided by RISC to SRSI students, Ibrahim Alsalamah - RISC lab member and mentor - participated in the selection workshop aimed at helping young researchers prepare for the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) 2023. The workshop supports and guides young researchers on their projects and preparation to present them at ISEF. The workshop was hosted by Mishkat Interactive Center in Riyadh and organized by King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba).
During the workshop, the students developed their quad-chart, research plan, and project abstract. A mentor shared their knowledge and expertise with the young researchers and provided practical tips on effective project proposals, research, and prototypes devolpment. Students also had the chance to present their work and get feedback.
The workshop was highly successful, and the young researchers and mentors benefited greatly from this experience. Finally, they received a certificate of appreciation from King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba). Mentors also extend their gratitude for recognizing the value the RISC Lab can provide and allowing them to work hand in hand in a well-organized and impactful program.
