Nakul Nandhakumar was a Visiting Student Research Intern at the Integrated Photonics Laboratory under the supervision of Prof. Yating Wan at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in 2024. During the internship, Nakul was also a fourth-year undergraduate pursuing a bachelor’s degree (majoring in Computer Engineering) at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) with GPA of 4.0/4.0, and is expected to graduate in 2025. At UCSD, Nakul assists with research on photonic reservoir computers in the Ultrafast and Nanoscale Optics (UNO) Group under Dr. Yeshaiahu Fainman and
