Md Al Shahriar Shakil was awarded his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), where his undergraduate research focused on quantum computing and quantum photonics. After completing his bachelor’s degree, he worked as a Research Assistant at BUET, where he gained experience in spin-based quantum qubits for quantum computing. He is currently an MS/PhD student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), where his research focuses on
