Research Interests One field that I am focusing is to develop a system in which real time data will be transferred into a software/hardware system to predict the performance of the bit for the formation ahead depending on the current performance and mechanical specific energy. Another field is the development of a bit in which sensors will be installed in the PDC cutters and gauge to get information for the drilled formation (Force - Unconfined Compressive Strength, Temperature etc). Also a field of drilling engineering that always fascinated me is the Coiled Tubing Drilling and how to develop
