Using Word Embeddings for Disease-Protein Association Prediction (Aug 2017 – Dec 2017)
The goal of this project was to evaluate the use of word embeddings for predicting Disease-Protein associations as well as the similarity between the different diseases. In this project, the model was built using text mining, and machine learning techniques.
Advisor: Prof. Robert Hoehndorf
