Xiong Dun was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Computational Imaging Group (VCCIMAGING) working with Professor Wolfgang Heidrich at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST).
Education and Early Career
Dr. Dun obtained his bachelor degree in Electronic Science and Technology from Harbin Institute of Technology in Harbin, China in 2007. After that in 2010, he received his master degree in Optical Engineering from Tianjin Jinhang Institute of Technology and Physics in Tianjin, China. He has a doctoral in Optical Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology in Beijing, China since 2015.
Before joining KAUST, he was an Optical Design Engineer at Tianjin Jinhang Institute of Technology and Physics in Tianjin, China.
Research Interest
His research interests focus on computational imaging and the relatively technology including optical system design, nano/micro structure optical element fabrication, inverse method, and light field analysis and application.
Honors and Awards
Xiong received a grant by Special Project of Postgraduate Grant from Beijing Institute of Technology in 2013.
