Cian is an MS/Ph.D. student in the Communication Theory Lab (CTL) under the supervision of Professor Mohamed-Slim Alouini at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). 

Education and Early Career

Cian obtained BSc in Physics with a Computer Science minor from New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) in 2023. 
Alongside his studies, Cian founded an autotech startup called Genius Autos (www.genius-autos.com) that aims to optimize the global used auto parts supply chain in the age of artificial intelligence.

Research Interest 

Cian is focusing in the area of wireless communication, optical wireless data center communication. He’s currently working on optical wireless data center communication.
Previously, Cian conducted multi-wavelength analyses on low-mass x-ray binary star systems to investigate the accretion dynamics during mini-outbursts.
Now, Cian is focused on machine learning optimization in internet of things (IoT).
