Education and Early Career

Mohamad received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada in 2020. He received his M.Sc. degree in Systems Engineering and B.Sc. degree in Control and Instrumentation Systems Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM), Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, in 2007 and 2015, respectively. Between Jan 2012 and Dec 2015, He was a research engineer at Baker Hughes.

Currently, he is a Postdoctoral Fellow working with Prof. Eric Feron at the King Abdullah University of Science & Technology (KAUST), Thuwal, Saudi Arabia. His current research interests include adaptive control, optimization & control, and their applications to robotic systems.
