KAUST counts distinguished professors and attracts ambitious students to take part in its glory.
I joined the Communication Lab where I enjoy both advanced mathematics and applied hardware design.

Introduction

Seifallah Jardak, Ph.D. alumni of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) class 2018, is currently holding a research engineer position at Toshiba Telecommunications Research Laboratory (TRL), Bristol, UK.

Education and Early Career

Seifallah Jardak obtained his Diplôme d’Ingénieur from Ecole Polytechnique de Tunisie, in Tunisia in 2012. Afterward, he joined  King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) to pursue his Master and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering supervised by Prof. Sajid Ahmed and Prof. Mohamed-Slim Alouini.

During his graduate studies, Seifallah got the opportunity to acquaint with the industry thanks to a six-month internship conducted at VTT Research Center of Finland, Espoo, Finland

Scientific Interest

Seifallah Jardak’s research focuses on signal processing for radar applications. He worked on different aspects of the MIMO and passive radar technology such as transmit beampattern design, generation of correlated waveforms, mmWave FMCW radar, and target parameter estimation.

Honors and Awards

Seifallah Jardak received a Taqadam grant to develop the Senviz startup which was featured in the Dubai Global Grad Show in November 2017. Participation in the Dubai Global Grad Show event also in 2017.
