IMPACT lab provides excellent opportunities for students to work on cutting-edge research projects with state-of-the-art CAD tools and lab resources. Many joint projects permit students to work with industrial partners such as IBM USA, VTT Electronics Finland, and academic partners like Georgia Institute of Technology USA, Berkeley University USA, and Carleton University Canada,  and government research labs such as CRC and NRC Canada.

Prospective Masters students are encouraged to apply directly to KAUST admissions.  Once selected in KAUST, they can join IMPACT lab for directed research (short-term research projects) or Masters thesis.

Postdoctoral Research Fellow Position in Electronic Ink Preparation for Additive Manufacturing

Job Description:

Postdoctoral Fellow (PDF) position is available in the IMPACT Lab at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) for immediate start. IMPACT Lab is associated with the Division of Mathematical and Computer Sciences and Electrical Engineering.

A successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in Material Science & Engineering or Chemical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, with a proven track-record of world-class research.

The candidate must have a strong background in material preparation, ink designing and formulation, additive manufacturing such as screen and inkjet printing. Knowledge of RF component design and electromagnetic simulations will be a plus.

Salary and benefits:
