Mahmoud Wafik Eltokhey is a Postdoctoral Fellow under the supervision of Professor Mohamed-Slim Alouini at the Communication Theory Lab (CTL) in King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST).
Education and Early Career
Mahmoud Wafik Eltokhey received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering, Mansoura University, Egypt, in 2012 and 2016, respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree in Optical Communications from École Centrale Marseille, France, in 2021. He was a Research Assistant with the Center for Photonics and Smart Materials, Zewail City of Science and Technology, Egypt, from 2012 to 2018. He was an Early Stage Researcher at Institut Fresnel, École Centrale Marseille, France, as part of the EU-funded H2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network VisIoN project, from 2018 to 2021.
Scientific Interest
Mahmoud’s research interests include visible light communications, UAV-based communications, and adaptive communication systems.
