About

Rehana Yasmin is a Research Scientist at the Resilient Computing and Cybersecurity Center (RC3), KAUST, since August 2023. Before joining KAUST, she had been working as a researcher in the area of Automotive Cybersecurity and Resilience at Huawei International. Prior to above, she served as a lecturer at University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and later as an assistant professor at Mirpur University of Science and Technology, in Pakistan. She also obtained a short experience of postdoc from University of Padova, Italy.

Research Interests

Yasmin's research interests lie in security and privacy protocols, applied cryptography, AI for anomaly detection, and connected and autonomous vehicle security. At RC3, she is investigating system resilience in areas like connected and autonomous vehicles, and New Space.
