Introduction

Yanyan Guo is a visiting consultant at Photonics Laboratory at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), and she obtained Ph.D. of Materials Science from Shanghai Institute of Optics and fine Mechanics, China in 2013 as a Winner of the President's Award of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. She joined Changchun University of Science and Technology in 2013. Her Ph. D topic was about mid-infrared emission properties of rare-earth ions doped heavy metal oxide glass. Her research and interests focuses on the glasses and fibers in the field of optics, electronic devices and energy storage.

Research Interests

1. The Fabrication of Optical glasses and fibers.
2. Non-crystalline solid state battery materials.
