Biography

Abdulkadir Celik is an Associate Professor at the University of Southampton, UK. He received his Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Iowa State University, Ames, IA, USA, in 2016, following M.S. degrees in electrical engineering (2013) and computer engineering (2015).

From 2016 to 2020, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). He subsequently served as a Research Scientist in the Electrical and Computer Engineering program at KAUST until 2025. His research focuses on next-generation wireless communication systems and networks, including 5G and beyond technologies.

Dr. Celik is a senior member of IEEE and serves as an editor for IEEE Communications Letters, IEEE Wireless Communications Letters, and Frontiers in Communications and Networks.
