Ans Rehman

About

Ans Rehman is a Master's student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), where he conducts research in the Communication Theory Lab (CTL) under the supervision of Professor Mohamed-Slim Alouini. 

Education and Early Career

Ans Rehman earned his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore. His early career blended hands-on embedded systems engineering at EPTech developing IoT systems, with research experience including an IIPP-funded internship at National Chung Cheng University, Taiwan, where he applied deep reinforcement learning to Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface optimization. His work bridges practical IoT engineering with AI-driven optimization of next-generation wireless networks.

Research Interests:

Deep reinforcement learning for the optimization of next-generation wireless networks alongside intelligent, resource-efficient embedded IoT communication.
