About Niloy Mitra Niloy Mitra Assistant Professor, Applied Mathematics and Computational Science geometry processing shape analysis Professor Niloy Mitra joined KAUST as an Assistant professor in 2009. Currently, he is a Professor of Geometry Processing in the Department of Computer Science, University College London (UCL). Education and Early Career He received his Master and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University under the guidance of Leonidas Guibas and Marc Levoy, and was a postdoctoral scholar with Professor Helmut Pottmann at Technical University Vienna. His research interests include shape analysis, computational design and fabrication, and geometry processing.
