Elyssa Boulila is currently a PhD student at EURECOM and Amadeus, working under the supervision of Professor Marc Dacier at KAUST, and Professor Simone Aonzo at EURECOM. And she also enrolled in the Sorbonne Université. Boulila received her master's degree from IMT Atlantique in 2022, specializing in Cybersecurity.

Boulila is interested in intrusion detection, threat hunting, and threat intelligence. Her thesis focuses on proposing new and modern solutions to detecting and hunting cyber threats in enterprise environments. The goal is to correlate log events and study low-value parameters in order to detect attack patterns. For now, Boulila is focusing on one important phase of the Cyber Kill Chain, the Lateral Movement.
