Khalid Hakami is a Masters student in Computer Science (CS) and a member of the Resilience Computing and Cybersecurity research Center (RC3) at King Abdullah University of Sciences and Technology. He works in network security under the supervision of Professor Marc Dacier to develop a framework that enables researchers to automate testing and fingerprinting clients based on their behavior when the server acts unexpectedly.

Education and Early Career

Hakami received his bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) in 2016. In the same year, he joined Saudi Aramco as an Exploration Systems Analyst in EXPEC Computer Center where he developed and integrated Exploration data services until he joined KAUST in 2021.
