IMPACT Lab wins the King Prize for the Best Invention of the year

​​In a yearly competition, held every year by King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), IMPACT Lab has emerged as a winner for the King Prize in the Inventors category. The prize has been given for the work done by Ph.D. student Muhammad Akram Karimi and Prof. Atif Shamim on Microwave Sensors for Oil Industry in Collaboration with Saudi Aramco (Dr. Muhammad Arsalan). This is the first time a KAUST faculty has won this prestigious award.
