Aniq is an MS/PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Mohamed-Slim Alouini at the Communication Theory Lab (CTL), KAUST.
Education and Early Career
Aniq obtained his bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from National Institute of Technology Durgapur, India in 2019. Upon graduation, he joined Qualcomm as an Associate Systems Engineer. In 2018 summers, he participated in the ALICE experiment as a research intern at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), Switzerland.
Prior to joining KAUST, he worked as a Project Assistant at IISc 5G Testbed, Indian Institute of Science and contributed to the Open Air Interface project, which is a 5G software alliance for democratizing wireless innovation.
Research Interest
His research interest lies at the intersection of wireless networks and multi-agent learning.
Honors and Awards
In 2019, Aniq was selected among 200 young researchers worldwide to attend the 7th Heidelberg Laureate Forum at Heidelberg, Germany. In 2018, his project ‘AquaShift’ which aimed at mitigating the effect of floods by diverting the water to a drought-prone region was among the 33 projects approved at NASA World Challenge Finland.
