About

Jong-Min Kim is a Ph.D. student in the Communication Theory Lab (CTL) under the supervision of Professor Mohamed-Slim Alouini at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). He is focusing on experimental free-space optical communication (FSOC) testbed development and theoretical performance analysis of FSOC to prepare for the future 6G non-terrestrial network (NTN) communications.

Education and Early Career

Jong-Min Kim obtained his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Korea University in 2020. He is also currently a Ph.D. student at Korea University.

Research Interest 

Jong-Min Kim is focusing on the area of wireless communication and free space optical communication.
