Alanis Chicaiza Zambrano is a Bioengineering MS/PhD student at Sensors Lab under supervision of Professor Khaled Nabil Salama, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST).

Education and Early Career

Alanis Chicaiza Zambrano is a Biomedical Engineer who graduated from Yachay Research University of Experimental Technology, Ecuador. During her undergrad, Alanis’ work focused on characterization of thin-films based on graphene and control of biofilm formation in biomedical devices. 

Research Interests

Alanis Chicaiza Zambrano is interested in the development of biosensors for tissue and organ fabrication, her interests also include the fabrication of new composite materials for biomedical devices.
