Daoming Liu is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow working with Professor Helmut Pottmann at the Visual Computing Center (VCC) in King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST).
Education and Early Career
Daoming Liu obtained his Ph.D. degree in Communication and Information System from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. During his Ph.D., he spent one year at TUDelft as a visiting Ph.D. student. Before joining VCC/KAUST, he worked at ShanghaiTech University as a Research Assistant Professor.
Research Interest
Daoming Liu’s research was focused on the physical modeling, numerical simulation, and scientific visualization of fluid flow and scalar transport phenomena. More recently, he was attempting to integrate geometric insights into his research.
