Johanna Beyer was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Visual Computing Center (VCC) in King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). She is currently a Research Associate at the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS). 

Research Interest

Her research focuses on GPU-based volume rendering techniques for large-scale neuroscience and medical data, with emphasis on visualization of large and multimodal volumes. She’s also interested in the combination of abstract information visualization with scientific visualization for novel domain-specific applications.
