Richard Clawson was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Visual Computing Center (VCC) in King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST).

Richard received a PhD in theoretical physics from Arizona State University, focusing on the geometric implications of Clifford Algebra in quantum mechanics. In addition to teaching there, he has worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, NM. He is interested in using Clifford Algebra to understand the geometry of discrete groups, Lie groups, electron spin, and electron zitterbewegung.
