Professor Shamim's new cutting edge, flexible and low-cost technology to monitor chronic wounds recently put CEMSE on the map of health care system research. His scientific paper " Low-Cost Inkjet Printed Smart Bandage for Wireless Monitoring of Chronic Wounds " appeared on Nature Scientific Reports and won IEEE MECAP'16 - Middle East Conference on Antennas and Propagation - Best Paper Award, in Beirut, last September.

KAUST students' research wins first place at IEEE AP-S/URSI 2022

Hanguang Liao and Yiming Yang from the KAUST IMPACT Lab won first place in the 2022 IEEE AP-S Student Design Contest at the 2022 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation and USNC-URSI Radio Science Meeting (IEEE AP-S/URSI 2022), held in July in Denver.

Mahmoud Ouda is currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate with the Communications and Signal Processing Group (CSP), Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Imperial College London.
