KAUST Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering Atif Shamim has been selected as a Distinguished Lecturer (DL) for the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (AP-S) from 2022 to 2024. In his new role, sponsored by the IEEE, Shamim will give lectures to AP-S chapter members on topics of interest and importance to the global AP community.

Zere Iman

Zere Iman is an M.S./Ph.D. candidate in the KAUST Integrated Microwaves Packaging Antennas and Circuits Technology Research Group (IMPACT), under the supervision of Professor Atif Shamim. Before joining KAUST, Zere obtained a bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Nazarbayev University, Kazakhstan. Research Interests Zere's research interests include antennas and electromagnetism.

Yiming Yang

Yiming Yang is a Ph.D. candidate at the KAUST Integrated Microwaves Packaging Antennas and Circuits Technology Research Group under the supervision of Professor Atif Shamim. His research interests include frequency selective surfaces, reconfigurable intelligent surfaces, and meta-surfaces in combination with additive manufacturing, time modulation, and other fabrication and reconfiguration methods.

Nidhi Mishra

Nidhi Mishra worked as a Researcher at Integrated Microwaves Packaging Antennas & Circuit Technology (IMPACT) Research Group at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). Research Interests Nidhi's research interests included ​Printed electronics, Antennas, and Microwave circuits. Education Profile Bachelor's in Electronics and Instrumentation, M.J.P. Muhammad Fahad Farooqui

Muhammad Fahad Farooqui graduated with a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from KAUST under the supervision of Professor Atif Shamim. He is now a Post Doctoral Fellow in Concordia University Canada​. Muhammad has over 10 years of experience in design, development, integration, and testing of RF/microwave/millimeter-wave circuits and systems and antennas. He is also an expert in developing wireless sensor nodes using additive manufacturing such as 3D printing and inkjet printing for environmental and health applications. Atif Shamim

Professor Shamim is an accomplished electrical engineer specializing in wireless communication and sensing components and systems. His work aims to improve the performance of wireless communication and sensing systems through low-cost additive manufacturing techniques.
