Stefan Arold is a Professor of Bioscience at KAUST. He is affiliated with the Biological and Environmental Science and Engineering Division (BESE) and the Computational Bioscience Research Center (CBRC). Education and early career Prof. Arold has held faculty positions at MD Anderson Cancer Center (MDACC) in Houston, USA and Centre de Biochimie Structurale (CBS) in Montpellier, France. He received his Ph.D. degree in Molecular Biophysics from University of Montpellier I and graduated cum laude. ​Ricardo Henao, a quantitative scientist, is an Associate Professor of Bioengineering in the Biological and Environmental Science and Engineering ( BESE) Division, and Computer Science in the Computer, Electrical, Mathematical Sciences and Engineering Division ( CEMSE), member of the Smart Health Initiative ( SHI) and the Computational Biosciences Research center ( CBRC), at KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology). He is also currently an Associate Professor in the department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering ( ECE)

Badoor Nasser obtained PhD degree in Environmental Science and Engineering under the supervision of Professor Takashi Gojobori.
