My research interests are in Bioinformatics, using High-Performance Computing (HPC), especially Next Generation Sequence (NGS) based Genome/Metagenome Assembly and Annotation, ncRNA analysis, Comparative Genomics, Functional Genomics, data warehouse development​, see for example KAUST Metagenomic Analysis Platform (KMAP),
