In recognition of their hard work and dedication, CBRC members and their families were invited to a barbecue dinner at South Beach on March 7.
For a bit of fun, Center Director Vladimir Bajic announced the winners of the CBRC Awards, whom members of the center had previously voted for.
The winner of the "Laughter is the Best Medicine Award" was postdoctoral fellow Salim Bougouffa, who accepted his trophy with a big smile on his face.
Senior systems administrator John Burton Hanks took home the "Calm in the Eye of the Storm Award", which he greatly appreciated despite a "calm" demeanor.
Postdoctoral fellow Seungbom Hong was unfortunately not able to receive his "Coffee Crazy Award" at the dinner. It was later presented to him at the CBRC office.
