Talented Saudi math students visit CBRC

An elite group of talented undergraduate students and math Olympians from Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Princess Nora bint Abdulrahman University, King Khalid University, Taif University, Taibah University and Hail University visited KAUST for an intensive study of applied mathematics topics on April 25-26, 2018.

Their two-day agenda included tours to several core labs as well as a brief visit to the Computational Bioscience Research Center (CBRC). CBRC Senior Computational Scientist Boris Jankovic gave a presentation about how the Center uses applied mathematics and computational methods for research in life sciences.

Several students showed an interest in the field and asked questions after the presentation.

CBRC welcomes visitors from other universities around Saudi Arabia and we look forward to accepting applications from qualified students into our programs
