The April edition of the prestigious journal "Communications of the ACM" has published a special section devoted to Arab World region. Among the selected few institutions in Arab countries in the field of biomedical computing, CBRC was acknowledged as an important player in this field. The authors contributing to the article, Distinguished Professor Takashi Gojobori and Dr. Boris Jankovic stressed the importance of synergistic approach to modern biomedical science by combining KAUST's state-of-the-art experimental and computational resources with the latest development in experimental methods and applications of artificial intelligence, knowledge mining and high-performance computing.
